This class takes place live online whilst I also teach in person, you get all the real live class vibes! Recordings are shared within 24 hrs after class and are accessible for 5 days.
Through Nov & Dec I'm offering 6 Yin classes that are tailored to Wintertime. A time to slow down, nourish yourself and replenish as the darker nights draw in. Classes can be booked individually as a drop in or you are welcome to attend them all.
- 11th Nov: Meditate with the Moon (close to November's full moon, I'll be sharing different styles of meditation for you to try as you rest in your Yin Yoga poses)
- 18th Nov: Warm your Heart: A deeply nourishing class all about loving kindness, including a guided metta meditation
- 25th Nov: Just Breathe - a fusion of gentle, flowing qi gong and Yin Yoga that helps support healthy lungs
- 2nd Dec: Yin your tummy! Yin Yoga & relaxing techniques to sooth your digestive system
- 9th Dec: Rest & Restore: A relaxing Yin class all about resting, feeling grounded and staying calm - focusing alot on hip and lower back areas
- 15th Dec: Festive Class - Candlelit, soft music and gentle restorative Yoga to calm the busy-ness before silly season
This class frequently fuses two relaxing and mindful styles of Yoga together.
Yin Yoga-
The first is Yin - a complementary yoga practice to our other more dynamic and invigorating styles. This class aims to bring you a little more headspace. We practice floor-based postures for 3-5 minutes to access a safe and positive ‘stress’ on the deep layers of the body. The extended time allows your body & mind to slowly unwind.
Restorative Yoga -
"We work very hard in our lives, and while we may sleep, we rarely take time to relax. Restorative yoga poses help us learn to rest deeply and completely." Judith Lasater. The latter part of this class will be a guided relaxation practice aims to lead you to a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping, like the "going-to-sleep" stage. It is a state in which the body is completely relaxed.
