ONLINE: Silent Night by Candlelight - charity fundraiser

Fundraiser class in aid of Baile Mhuire Day Care Centre, Tralee. Replaces our Yin Class for this week. Yin passes and all usual yin to winter, 6/12 or drop in passes are valid for this experience.

One dark & wintry December evening, a community of “exhausted from pre-Christmas carry-on” folks came together online from the comfort of their warm homes. They had all sorts of comforts in their tired arms like mats, blankets, pillows, hot water bottles, eye masks and giant cozy socks and jumpers. They wore their jim-jams and onesies so they could just fall into bed after their class. Once snuggled up at home with zoom, lit only by candlelight, they were all ready to be virtually tucked in by Maeve, who cocooned them in warmth and care by wrapping them up, snug as bugs in rugs!

They nestled in and lay back to drink in the grounding, whilst soothed by the sounds of gentle music from a playlist shared in advance by Maeve. She lulled them into a mellow state of being with a guided relaxation and breathing meditation. She then softly read them Christmassy stories.

After completely melting into a deep nap, they gently came to and for the last few minutes of class and enjoyed a warm cuppa and something tasty at home chatting in break our groups with other students also joining in from home (this part is optional) then they fell into their beds for the best night’s sleep they ever could have imagined.

This holiday season, allow yourself – body, mind & soul to be nourished and cared for in this much needed class at a busy, festive but often challenging time of the year. TLC, space & total escape awaits you this December.
