A time out for you each week, to take great care of yourself in this warm, inviting cocoon of a Yoga class.
These classes focus on putting yourself first, a stepping out of the busy hamster wheel of life and settling in to a softly lit room, with a gentle music and a comforting, experienced Teacher who is on hand to support you.
At these slow to mid-tempo flow classes, we focus on relaxation. Each week you'll practice a slower paced flowing style of yoga (the same tempo as Hatha / Vinyasa 1). You'll have time to figure out how to tweak poses to suit your body and enjoy a longer Savasana (rest) than other classes. AND in each class your Teacher will introduce you to a new self-care practice to try out for yourself either interwoven throughout class or for the final 15 - 20 mins depending on the focus.
- 3rd March: Deep breathing techniques for relaxation and reducing anxiety
- 10th March: Using essential oils during your practice and for relaxation
- 17th March: No class - St. Patrick's Day
- 24th March: Restorative Yoga (last 20 mins of class will be spent practicing poses designed to completely unwind and destress you)
- 31st March: Yoga Nidra: a deeply relaxing Guided Meditation (last 20 mins of class)
- 7th April: Yoga & Journaling - the last 15 mins of your class will be dedicated to an opportunity to practice journaling and how writing can help make sense of your thoughts and clear your head
- 14th April: Community Circle - to bring our 6 weeks to a close, we will gather together for our last 15 mins of class and enjoy a cup of herbal tea and a homemade treat together to share our experience of Yoga for Self-Care - a no pressure, enjoyable way to meet your fellow yoginis :)
