Exhausted at the end of the week! Then this is the class for you!  In a culture focused around doing more, having more, and getting more, it is crucial to learn and practice simple techniques to help reduce stress and anxiety. 

Class is streamed live on Zoom, whilst I also teach the class in studio in person, so you'll get  all the "real" class vibes. Class is recorded and shared within 24 hours with 5 days access to the playback.

In October I'm offering a Yin Quartet- four classes that are tailored to Autumn. A time to slow down, nourish yourself and replenish as the darker nights draw in. Classes can be booked individually as a drop in or you are welcome to attend them all.

  • 6th Oct: The Poetry of Yoga - Yin Yoga infused with seasonal poetry readings & reflections
  • 13th Oct: Yin Yoga & Breathwork to reduce anxiety
  • 20th Oct: Yin Yoga & Essential Oils to support your immune system
  • 27th Oct: Samhain Return to Rest - Restorative Yoga & Guided Relaxation

This class frequently fuses two relaxing and mindful styles of Yoga together. 

Yin Yoga-
The first is Yin  - a complementary yoga practice to our other more dynamic and invigorating styles. This class aims to bring you a little more headspace. We practice floor-based postures for 3-5 minutes to access a safe and positive ‘stress’ on the deep layers of the body. The extended time allows your body & mind to slowly unwind. 

Restorative Yoga -
"We work very hard in our lives, and while we may sleep, we rarely take time to relax. Restorative yoga poses help us learn to rest deeply and completely." Judith Lasater.  The latter part of this class will be a guided relaxation practice aims to lead you to a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping, like the "going-to-sleep" stage. It is a state in which the body is completely relaxed.
