Exhausted at the end of the week! Then this is the class for you!  In a culture focused around doing more, having more, and getting more, it is crucial to learn and practice simple techniques to help reduce stress and anxiety. 

This class is live streamed online whilst Im teaching in person, in studio - so it's got the real live class vibes! You're welcome to have your camera on or off during the class.

In September I'm offering a Yin Trilogy - three classes that are tailored to this time of the year, the transition from Summer to Autumn. A time to slow down, nourish yourself and replenish before the light falls. Classes can be booked individually as a drop in or you are welcome to attend them all.

  • 16th Sept: Yin Yoga for Digestion (yoga, massage and meditation to help reduce anxiety and tension and support your digestive system)
  • 23rd Sept: Yin & Restorative Yoga and Essential Oils - infusing your practice with various doTERRA essential oils that you get to try! Or if you're at home, I can recommend an oil for you to have to hand if you wish - please just ask!
  • 29th Sept: Yoga for Deep Sleep - Yin & Restorative Yoga with a guided relaxation (Yoga Nidra) to help you completely unwind and prepare for deep sleep

This class fuses two relaxing and mindful styles of Yoga together. The first is Yin Yoga - a complementary yoga practice to our other more dynamic and invigorating styles. This class aims to bring you a little more headspace. We practice floor-based postures for 3-5 minutes to access a safe and positive ‘stress’ on the deep layers of the body. The extended time allows your body & mind to slowly unwind. I’ll also share a new essential oil with you each week, show you how to incorporate it on the mat and off and explain the qualities and benefits of the oil and of course you get to try it for yourself!

Restorative Yoga -

"We work very hard in our lives, and while we may sleep, we rarely take time to relax. Restorative yoga poses help us learn to rest deeply and completely." Judith Lasater.  The latter part of this class will be a guided relaxation practice aims to lead you to a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping, like the "going-to-sleep" stage. It is a state in which the body is completely relaxed.
